Bruno Mars' Friends & Fans Offer Condolences After Mother's Death

Bruno Mars suffered an unforeseen loss this weekend when his mother, Bernadette Hernandez, passed away on Saturday.
Hernandez, 55, died of a brain aneurysm in Mars' home state of Hawaii, at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, according to TMZ. The singer has yet to comment on the unexpected passing of his mother, who was born in the Philippines and was a hula dancer.
Mars is expected to kick off a world tour on June 22 in Washington, D.C. with Fitz and the Tantrums serving as the opening act on the tour's first leg. No word yet on whether the tour will in fact open at that time.
