X-Contract, Megan Landry and Hype Top The BEAT100 Originals Music Video Chart

After a competitive voting period among the many talented artists on the recent BEAT100 Original Music Video Chart, the June 10th chart compilation results are in and the winners announced! The BEAT100 team congratulates the Danish band X Contract for achieving first place with their original song and music video ‘In the Mist’. The band also recently achieved status as BEAT100 Ultimate Musicians, the rarest and most prominent award given to musicians on the social network. Second place and third place were claimed by second-time BEAT100 chart winners Megan Landry, for her original song titled ‘Crooked Lullaby’, and Serbian band Hype!, for their hard-hitting track ‘Erase’.
X Contract was formed in 2007 by Danish singer and producer, Dennis Pedersen, and has since attracted a global audience due to the band’s unique progressive and alternative rock vibe. Consisting of members Lars Klit(lead guitarist), Bjørn Wind Andersen (drums), and Thomas Olesen (bass), X Contract describes their sound as “constantly growing and maturing with every rehearsal, recording and performance” as a result of much experimentation with their sound and songwriting.
