Los Angeles police have asked to interview Justin Bieber about claims he raced a Ferrari through the streets of his California neighbourhood last weekend. "If you have nothing to hide, why not talk to us?" said a spokesman for the sheriff's department.

Former American football star Keyshawn Johnson was among the neighbours who publicly complained about Bieber's speeding, saying the singer could have struck his three-year-old daughter. According to the sheriff's department, Johnson followed Bieber to his home in Calabasas to confront him, but the 19-year-old hurried inside the house "without talking to anybody".

Another retired football player, Eric Dickerson, tweeted angrily about Bieber's "reckless driving". "I live in Calabasas too and @justinbieber needs to slow his ass down," he wrote on Twitter. "I use to have a white Ferrari too, but I knew the speed limit in neighborhoods where kids played."

Bieber's representatives have denied the pop singer was driving the vehicle, though authorities have heard from several witnesses who say they saw him behind the wheel. "Mr Bieber is making statements through others that he was not driving," sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore told the LA Times, adding that the singer had refused to talk to officers who called at his house. "If he wants to set the record straight, [he should] contact us for a sit-down, thorough interview."

The BEAT100 community congratulates winners of the May 27th BEAT100 Original Music Video Chart compilation.Configa, the popular UK hip-hop producer, placed first, achieving his second original music video chart win for his outstanding original track titled ‘Back 2 Basics’, featuring John Graham. Shane Board achieved second this month following his recent first place win in the BEAT100 Cover Music Video Chart, receiving over 15,000 views on the video for his original track, ‘Tell Me Now’. Finally, Romanian-based singer John Diamond placed third with his release of ‘Let’s Get High’, an upbeat dance anthem that received over 14,000 views.

Paris Hilton has found a new home, and some of her roommates include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. The heiress/singer/"Bling Ring" actress has reportedly signed with Cash Money Records.

Hilton broke the news to Showbiz 411, adding that she hopes to have her follow-up to 2006's self-titled debut out by summer. She added it will feature a number of hip-hop acts, including Weezy, and production from EDMsuperstar Afrojack. "This is a lot different than my first album," Paris told the site. "It's really going to be house music."

Paris Hilton has found a new home, and some of her roommates include Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj. The heiress/singer/"Bling Ring" actress has reportedly signed with Cash Money Records.

Reps for Cash Money confirmed that Hilton is onboard with the label, while Hilton's rep said nothing is set in stone: "Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can't confirm anything. When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement."

Hilton has been rolling with the Cash Money crew for a while now. Last year, she released a song with Wayne, "Last Night," and he was even on hand at her birthday bash back in March. In May, she was also recruited to cameo in the Rich Gang's video for "Tapout," alongside Cash Money all-stars Wayne, Birdman, Mack Maine and Nicki Minaj.

The Voice hits ratings low as Jessie J is accused of fixing the results

Reality singing competition The Voice scored a series low last night (May 25), with ratings only reaching 5.9 million - a reported 1.48 million down from the previous episode.

The show, which came under criticism last year after 2012 winner Leanne Mitchell failed to make the Top 40 and The Voice UK tour was canceled due to poor ticket sales, was also struck by controversy, with pop star and show mentor Jessie J accused of rigging the results.

Jessie J, who is a judge on the show alongside Tom Jones, Will.I.Am and The Script's Danny O'Donaghue, is reported to have made a pre-arrangement with O'Donaghue to save one singer in the program's head-to-head battle rounds, whilst The Script man would then go on to 'steal' the other contestant for his own team.

Singer George Michael allegedly fell out of a moving car on the M1 motorway last week and, according to a witness, narrowly avoided death.

As we previously reported, the True Faith singer was injured in a collision on Thursday (May 16) while travelling as a passenger in a vehicle on the road.

Recent recipient of a BEAT100 ‘Ultimate Musician’ award, 23 year old hip-hop and pop artist, Nick Luebke, has quickly become a hit among members of the BEAT100 music video social network. Nick received Ultimate Musician status following an upload of originalsong ‘End of the Road’ to the BEAT100 Original Music Video Chart, a song that was “inspired by my college graduation and the feelings it sparked,” says Nick. ‘End of the Road’, co-produced by KonG and Kyle Schlienger, received a BEAT100 Gold Song, Video, and Favorite award from the BEAT100 A&R Team. Having recently released his EP, ‘The Search’, which reached #47 in the iTunesPop charts, Nick is currently on his first nationwide tour with singer SoMo while performing his original songs and showcasing his talent as a musician.

“I’ve been singing ever since I could talk,” says Nick, “One night I recorded some vocals on a friend’s microphone and sent the recording to my older sisters. They bought me a microphone two years ago… and that was basically the start of all this.” Growing up, Nick says he loved exploring rap music, but also enjoyed the catchy radio pop songs he heard as well. As a result, his style has emerged as an organic blend of hip-hop and pop, sometimes resembling the unique sound of artists such as B.o.B., containing catchy pop choruses and instrumental elements combined with hip-hop beats and rap. In addition, Nick maintains true-to-life lyrical themes throughout his songs, resulting in catchy and relevant lyrics. “I like to write about feelings that I’m currently having because that makes it easy to get descriptive and add in details that make the song interesting,” says Nick. “I hate when artists make music about stuff that obviously isn’t true or hasn’t really happened to them,” he adds.
